Absolutely amazing & transformative soundscape experience (healing & trippy)

SVN West as a venue was a nice concept, but the reality is that it didn't serve the purpose that the artist or the guests were hoping for. From the disorganized entry, lack of clear directions on where to go, minimal effort put in by the venue to create a comfortable space or soundscape, it made for a mediocre experience. The room itself was freezing cold- to the point where people were visibly shivering and trying to stay warm even with winter clothing and blankets. The capability of the venue to provide a decent sound experience was not up to par. I've seen East Forest live before, and I know the effort he puts into ensuring that his sound is rich and high quality, especially with Numinus' support. The usually crisp, clear sound I expected was distorted in this space, with the bass reverb covering up a lot of the more intricate tones and vibrations, and completely muddling the spoken word content into unrecognizable jibberish. This threw me off guard- not the performance I was expecting, the feel I was hoping for or the experience that I was looking so much forward to.

Great setting. Though given we were in a cavernous garage like venue and laying in the floor for ceremony, it was wicked cold - and could have been warned to bring lots of layers. Both East Forest and his partner Radha were very welcoming and set an inviting container for the evening. The song selection was perfect. Though the sound mix was rather muddy during spoken word and bass beat thumping (ie I couldn’t decider the voice from the music) I’m looking forward to another East Forest ceremony in the near future

The 'calling'....such an impactful evening. The gathering of souls seeking a catalyst for release, bringing us from an outward space to the inward gaze. Being present and in awe of the depths of sound and senses. Thank you!
