A'Jerome's passion for music was born of nothing less than sheer fascination. Music was never a hobby, never simply a pastime, but the purest way of his souls expression. Since a young age, A'Jerome noticed that certain types of music touched his soul in a specific way, a very different type of feeling; A sensation unlike any other for the young Dj. This passion drove him to start Purple Monkey Entertainment with a colleague at age 16. Through which he has successfully hosted dozens of memorable events and parties, that people still talk about today! His radiant energy, and engaging drive on the decks is what truly made him stand out in the Sri Lankan music scene. For a couple of years it was simply magic to his ears, as he passionately played the songs of his favourite artists. His leading inspirations being: Dubfire, D nox & beckers, Maceo Plex, Kohra & SHFT. A'Jerome never settled for anything half good, it had to be his souls expression, therefore a 100% certainty was required with each track he chose to play. At age 20 he decided his days as simply a listener and DJ were over, and that he was now ready to become the creator. He gathered all the passion and drive he possessed into his hands and started producing. As a producer his dark melodic journey ascended. The ease with which one can manifest the slightest impulse of a significant feeling into a track was nothing short of fascination for A'Jerome. This magic he started to weave was expressed through genres such as Minimal, Techno, dark, and high tech minimal. The underground music fascinated him and he could find no better means for his soul's expression. And what better feeling in the world is there, than to share this spark of dark magic with people who feel it in the same way?
