Cursive

First time seeing Cursive, and they kicked a*s. Played lots of old stuff and some new stuff, and it all sounded fantastic. It was so cool to see how each member holds their space in the band. Opening act Pile was also great.

I don't even know how to verbalize how important this show was. I went alone and cried and sang and had the time of my life. I'm so glad I braved the cold to see them!

Beyond amazing! Such great musicians and performers with amazing energy!!! They have love for their community and it shows in the community that supports them. An amazing show and experience! I plan to also see them when they come into town!

Great, great show. First time I had seen Cursive in a few years, and they really brought the energy. I'll be talking about this show for a while.

I went to my first Glass House Cursive show about 15 years ago and the band this venue never disappoint. Chef’s kiss then, over all the years in between, and now 🤌🤌

The BEST show I have gone to in a decade. Neva Dinova was great as always and it was nice to see Roger and Jake again. Cursive's performance of Domestica and other great songs was the most energetic, powerful, raw and emotive set by a band that I have ever seen. Tim is the most expressive singer/musician; you could feel the pain, longing, regret, hope and resentment in not just his voice and from his guitar but through his body language and stage presence. And I loved seeing Megan play with the band and Ted, Matt and Patrick were also so awesome to watch, you could really see how natural they are together and just rock so hard with such precision with so little effort. And seeing both bands in such a small, intimate venue with both fans and musicians from the local music scene was the cherry on top. I haven't danced/banged my head to a live band like that in my life. Thanks to both bands for visiting FoCo and making it such a memorable night.

One of the best show I’ve been to this year, most people seemed to be here for Thursday but I was glad to hear people talk about how awesome Cursive was live after the show. I hope this got some people into them, they’re fabulous both on records and live.

Had never heard of the opening band(Leggy). Singer said they were from Cincinnati. They were very good. Cursive was, well, AMAZING! Even though they have been together forever and a day, all of them looked like they were having fun still seemed very appreciative of the crowd. THEY WERE SUPER TIGHT. The sound was very good.

My god they were in fine form. I went to see them moreso than Thursday or Anthony Green (is he just never able to make it to Canada?) and I could've left happy after their set. Thursday also did well, but couldn't match the energy of Cursive.

Perfection! I relived the 16 year old me feels at 35 and they sounded exactly the same still!! Paired with Thursday- it was an amazing concert.

This show ended up being so much better than I couldve imagined. The Cursive setlist was hit after hit after hit, and Tim Kasher absolutely knows how to work an audience, that saucy minx. Just everything about it, so so good. I will never forget this show, ever.

So good!!! They played all my favorites! So intense with all 6 members, I love it! The crowd and venue was cool too which makes all the difference. Thursday and The Appleseed Cast were also incredible! I came for Cursive, stayed for Thursday.

They always pit on a great show. Last night was a bit more special not sure if it was because of the small crowd or what. I almost skipped the show because I was in a terrible mood but I'm so glad I went it was an awesome show.

My favorite time I’ve seen them. I was right in front on the stage and in front of their badass guest cello player. Cat’s Cradle is an awesome venue, it suits them. I saw them as a birthday weekend thing and it’s still favorite birthday to date.

I attended Satellite when it was being remodeled and painted. Love the layout. Beers n Tacos were great even tho 3.50 for taco is BIT much. Loved Cloud nothing n CURSIVE Rocked!!!!!! 😎

Cursive has become one of my favorite live bands. I've seen them three time in less than a year and will see them anytime they come to Baltimore or DC

Cursive was good, but the venue staff were party poopers. Although it is a nice venue, I don’t recommend the Tower Theatre for any heavier music acts. The bouncers would not allow any form of moshing and even ejected a girl over a rather minor scuffle. Kids were just having fun, there was zero chance of a dangerous h******e pit forming, but they wouldn’t even let people bounce off each other a bit. Lame! They killed the crowd energy.

Best set list I've ever seen them play. I've hit every Cursive/ The Good Life/ Tim Kasher show for the last 6 years they always put on a great show. They played s perfect mix of old and new. Venue was decent. Just like anywhere in SLC don't even bother ordering ant drinks unless it's a bottled beer that you know. The space was good, but the walls had no dampening devices at all and the sound really thrashes around in there. Cursive sounded great, but their openers' sound suffered from it.

The new songs were very strong live and fit right in with the “oldies”. And who doesn’t love a room full of people singing along?
