About Dream Arcade
If Bruce Springsteen wrote pop-punk songs on ‘80s synths in his parents’ basement…or if John Hughes commissioned The Get Up Kids to record the soundtrack to The Breakfast Club…or if Saves The Day recorded an album of New Order covers, well, then it would probably sound a whole lot like the Dream Arcade EP. Though originally the solo project of frontman Mikel McCavana, Dream Arcade has since expanded to a full band that mixes the emotional energy of the early 2000s pop-punk scene with the electronic palette of ‘80s synth-pop. Dream Arcade has been featured in numerous publications including Cliché Magazine, Indecent Xposure, and Under The Gun Review (SPIN Media). Currently based in Brooklyn, Dream Arcade is bringing its energetic live show to greater New York City. // For any booking and press requests, please contact dreamarcadeinfo@gmail.com Bombing through the suburbs in your parents' car at dusk.
