Loved that Iowa was the only two day festival they had on the tour 🥰 Although it was blistering hot both days we still managed to enjoy it. The venue made sure to have big fans (the ones that cool you, not the people 😂) and sprayed the standing floor fans (the people) down with a hose.

Unfortunately I missed Mayday Parade due to a mix-up in the timetable of the organizer.
After talking to the merch sellers they organized a meeting with Derek.
Derek is a very humble and caring person, as he signed my merch we were able to chat a bit about future tours.
Big thanks to the merch staff and to Derek for taking the time to meet me. Best, worst day of my life!
Love, Lukas

Wish they played a few more of the old bangers, but it was a sweet show and brought this 32 year old dude back to being 18 for a few hours. Great show guys. The one thing I love the band for is embracing emo music maybe not being for everyone, but it being for us and we don’t care if some one thinks we’re a soft or lame, cuz it makes us happy. Much love MP.

About Mayday Parade
After fulfilling their most recent record deal with the release of their 7th studio album What It Means To Fall Apart, Mayday Parade decided to take things into their own hands so they could operate to release music on their own terms and timeline. It’s a space the band hasn’t fully existed in since their self-released debut EP, which sold 50,000 copies without the support of a label. When asked about their new single, drummer Jake Bundrick said, "Got Me All Wrong is about falling hard for someone but the other person isn’t on the same page. I met my wife on Warped Tour and the song is roughly about that. It didn’t happen immediately like I wanted but it eventually did and that’s what the song is about."
The pivot brings some much needed flexibility in support of their personal lives. “It’s extremely exciting and terrifying all at the same time,” shares Bundrick. “There’s obviously a lot more freedom and control,” adds Alex Garcia. That freedom, as Jeremy Lenzo explains it, will allow them to “release new music more consistently as opposed to dropping an album every couple of years.” As such he continues, “we’re going into this with the mindset that each song really needs to stand on its own.”
With that in mind, the band have taken their time when it comes to deciding what to record and release. The forthcoming releases and touring mark the latest chapter in the history of the Tallahassee band, as they approach nearly two decades of playing and releasing music together.
