Mayday Parade

Wish they played a few more of the old bangers, but it was a sweet show and brought this 32 year old dude back to being 18 for a few hours. Great show guys. The one thing I love the band for is embracing emo music maybe not being for everyone, but it being for us and we don’t care if some one thinks we’re a soft or lame, cuz it makes us happy. All three bands (Magnolia Park, Real Friends, and Mayday Parade) were all awesome!!! I’ve seen Mayday more times than I can count (including getting engaged at Sad Summer 2019), and they never disappoint!! XL Live was an awesome venue… smaller, more reasonably priced (food & drink), and the vibe was still just like Philly, but on a less overcrowded scale!

Concert was amazing! All the bands were great! Only complaint is regarding the location. Parking was $30! That is ridiculous, considering the price of the concert ticket itself. You pretty much have no choice, because the neighborhood is sketchy and there’s no street parking right near the theater. The theater owns the lot, so they control what people have to pay. I will have to add $30 to the ticket price when I think about the next show there! 🤬

They did not disappoint. The group is so humble which is nice to see on stage. They brought a one year old birthday girl on stage and we all said happy birthday. They played the classics and some new things. Amazing performance and they sound just like the records. I love them so much!

Awesome venue with a great staff. Just went there to see Mayday Parade with Just Friends, Mom Jeans, and State Champs– my goodness what a good time! The crowd was amazing, prices for drinks/merch were understandable, and the staff was very helpful, especially with the crowd surfing. They definitely helped me find my glasses after everything was over! Will definitely be looking forward to more shows here.

I pretty much fell off their wagon after their first album, but my brother had an extra ticket and didn’t want to go alone, and I miraculously had the day off from all three of my jobs. Tagging along was the best decision I have ever made! My love for Mayday Parade was rekindled that night, a fire that will stay lit for a long time to come! The venue was fairly small, so we got pretty close, and we were able to hear and see perfectly. They’re just as amazing live as they are on the record, so if you have any chance to see them live, even if you’re just a ‘casual fan’ I highly recommend it. You won’t be just a casual fan for long.

I’ve seen them live 3 times now and honestly I’m still blown away every time I do. The first time I saw them I was in 8th grade and I only knew a handful of their songs. Then I bought myself tickets days before I graduated high school. And now once again a little more than a year later. The performance was great and everyone around me felt like family. I will continue to buy tickets and support them till I am unable to.

They played so many songs I thought they’d never play. I thought they would do some versions of songs that i thought they never did Bc it wasn’t the “popular one”. But they know us. They know that everyone of their fans loves what they do and respect every single reason why and appeal to every last one of those reasons.

Enjoyed meeting Mayday Parade and they are each fantastic guys! My daughter loves them ! They took so much time chatting and signing and caring for each and every one there! Cant wait til they come back! The 3 opening bands were all good! Thanks guys for doing great show !

Great time! Mayday Parade always creates an inclusive, positive, and energetic atmosphere. This is my third time seeing them, and I intend to go again. They keep everything fresh and have moved towards more mature music for the older fans, and they always throw in older tracks for nostalgia. The opening acts were also really positive and funny too. Overall spectacular performance by everyone. Also the Showbox staff did a great job and had wonderful customer service.

It was an awesome show! The only thing that sucked was buying early entry tickets and not being allowed in early because the meet and greet went long. We just got to the front of the line. I thought we’d have at least a few minutes to get to the restroom and make our way to the front before everyone else was allowed in. I know that stuff happens, but I’m not sure I’ll buy early entry again.

10/10. I’ve been to many concerts this year but this concert made me feel alive the most. From the bands getting ready to perform on stage to them singing they made everyone in the room sing at the top of their lungs. Mayday is definitely a band I recommend everyone see in their lifetime they are the most special band I’ve ever seen.

Most beautiful Mayday show I've ever been to! The lights were awesome! The sound was amazing! The staff there were actually super nice! And the venue was pretty neat. I absolutely loved the whole experience & cant wait to find out when another of my fave bands will be performing there so I can go back!!!

I loved it!! So much. I bought the tickets and the V.i.p upgrades as a christmas present for my girlfriend, and it was the time of our lives- and very much worth the wait!! It was a tad less exciteable with all the spilt alcohol everywhere on the floor. The crowd was super great and everybody was rocking!

This concert was honestly the best thing to ever happen to me. There was so much love radiating from the bands. I felt okay for once in my life. The performances from all of the bands were phenomenal and it was a beautiful event over all. Can't wait to see Mayday Parade perform again and get more informed about the bands that were on the line up.

one of my favorite concerts i've been to since warped tour! can't believe the lead singer held my hand during a song 😭 loved this show so much especially since it was at a smaller venue. been listening to their music for years and it made that much more special to me that i got to be so close to them again 💜

I have seen Mayday Parade probably close to twenty times but I have never seen them this solid before. They all seemed to be so incredibly comfortable with themselves and the band as a whole. Derek wasn't his little awkward and painfully shy self as he normally is. You could tell that he has finally left his comfort zone and realized it's so much better to just be confident in who he is. That definitely transferred on through the band and their performance. All of them were in sync and the energy was the most enjoyable it could be! Those little things make such a difference to an audience member! Nothing but absolute improvement from them! I am so glad I was able to see this switch, I will never miss a Mayday show in the future!

This was genuinely one of the best shows I've ever been to. All the bands were absolutely incredible, and getting to meet a few of the artists before and after was the icing on the cake. I would recommend seeing any of these bands live if you're looking for an incredible performance. Easily a 10/10.

They were really good, but there were SO many crowd surfers (I guess because most people don't mosh to them) that I couldn't get into it. The girl in front of me had one crowd surfer fall on her, she fell herself, and just as the fallen crowd surfer was lifted back up, another fell on her again. I wouldn't go see them again unless they were with someone really great, not because the band themselves weren't great, but due to a fear for safety (the girl that got practically crushed by crowd surfers was one of my best friends, and she's a lot stronger than me, so I got really scared after that). Just be vigilant if you go.
