Squirrel Shaped Fish

Squirrel Shaped Fish began writing and recording music over the summer of 2013. The Lansing, Michigan lounge rock band played their first show in November 2013 and have been performing around Michigan and the upper Midwest ever since. In Lansing, SSF have opened for The Soil & The Sun, Joe Hertler & the Rainbow Seekers, Flint Eastwood, Dreamers, Stepdad, and Sphynx, and performed alongside many other great local and regional artists. They also performed at Lansing's Common Ground Music Festival in July 2014. With one member residing in Chicago, Squirrel Shaped Fish have called the city a second home and performed regularly at venues such as Quenchers, Double Door, Beat Kitchen, and Schubas. Other regular stops include Kalamazoo and Detroit, and they have also performed in Mt. Pleasant, Grand Rapids, Saginaw, Minneapolis, and Iowa City. SSF released their debut EP, Learn to Love on February 7, 2014, and are currently writing their debut full length album, due out in late 2015.
