Member Bios: Sunshine DeLassio, "The Banjo Lady" - Musically solid and a banjo revolutionary, Sunshine is much more than just a good-lookin' gal! She has created a Scruggs/Clawhammer hybrid, and percussive banjo technique that gives this duo their unique sound. Woody DeLassio, - Constantly cracking smiles and witty puns, Woody's off-the-cuff, quick thinking shines through in his musical improvisations. Introducing Jazz and Funk lines into Blues & Folk, his focus is taking leaps in a progressive route to change the way we all look at traditional music. Formed around a love for music, and each other, Woody & Sunshine came together early in 2011. Through collaboration, and constant jamming, this duo is ever-evolving and growing into their self-taught, free-form genre. Woody & Sunshine continue to perform both original tunes, and add a special Arkansas twist to their favorite inspired classics. A dynamic duo of string-pluckin' Arkansans.
