Jonny Boston

Jonny also attended Christ's Hospital a boarding school in England as a teenager. Here he
sang in the chapel choir every Sunday. Aged 18 he began touring Europe with various jazz
bands. 2 years later studied at Leeds College of Music where he gained a diploma in jazz
with honours, as well as winning Young Jazz Player of the Year in 1993.
Aged 27 he first encountered the Lord playing in a church in Norway. It took 12 years before
he could settle in his faith, and he was baptised in Crossroads International Church in The
Netherlands where he is active in the worship ministry.
In 2011 Jonny formed a jazz gospel quartet Jonny & the Jazzuits. They were nominated for
a Zilveren Duif Award in 2015. Their 2nd album has been regularly played on Groot Nieuws
Radio. A 3rd album is planned for Autumn 2019.
Jonny leads a live set from his living room regularly on Facebook called Jazzy Living Room
Sessions which is proving a great tool for sharing the gospel.
