John Rowdy

John Rowdy is a heartland folk rock and Americana songwriter whose music lives somewhere between open highways, small-town bars, and the stories we carry long after we leave home. Rooted in acoustic-driven songwriting, his sound blends raw honesty with melodic grit, pairing reflective lyrics with a live energy that connects quickly with an audience.

A Kansas-based artist, John has spent years playing bars, listening rooms, and community venues across the Midwest, building his craft the old-fashioned way — one show at a time. His performances feature a mix of original songs and select crowd-favorite covers, delivered with a stripped-down, solo acoustic approach that keeps the focus on storytelling and connection.

John’s songs explore themes of resilience, travel, loss, and redemption — the quiet moments and hard lessons found along life’s back roads. Whether opening for other artists or headlining an intimate room, his shows are relaxed, genuine, and built for people who love songs that feel lived-in.

Currently booking live dates and sharing new and archival material, John Rowdy continues to bring honest Americana to stages where the stories matter as much as the sound.
