About Parallel Motion
Parallel Motion was created in 2017. Since it’s inception the band was clear they wanted a metal band, but more importantly, a band that embraced each members influences. Their debut song ”The Monotony” surprised the public and was highlighted for its high energy and catchy hooks. The group’s second single, “Light," has been received positively by US independent radio stations. Parallel Motion was even named the artist of the month by Reverbnation (Metal category), for 2 months straight, as well as becoming one of the Top 10 metal bands on the site!
At the end of 2018, they added to their roster a new face; stepping up the bar with their high energy and emotional live performances. Parallel Motion has been playing live quite extensively, even opening for globally recognized bands like Angel Vivaldi, Nita Strauss(Alice Cooper), Crazy Town, Messer, Shallow Side, and Hed PE just to mention a few.
Now close to releasing their ep ”Illogical”, they’ll be revealing their last two songs. The first single being released will be ”Falling”, a song that features Puerto Rican musician Oscar from recognized band Puya and Ill Niño. This song speaks of their singer's heart of a dark time in which a lot of the fans will be able to relate. It also adds soft melodic bass and guitar lines, with aggressive moments, but more importantly, they incorporate for the first time their Latino heritage with some unexpected salsa to spice the song. The last song of the ep is called ”Illogical”. This song has proven to have a bounce effect live.
It is very certain Parallel Motion is a band focused on bringing quality content. They are very excited with future music but more importantly with continuing to expand and share their music beyond Florida with their followers.
