About Chemical Mass
Chemical Mass is a five piece, original hard rock group from Jefferson City, Missouri. Members include: Steve Walters (vocals), Tom Troesser (guitar), James (Jim) Perkins (guitar), Brad Toebben (bass), and Lucas Schroer (drums).
Formed in 2014, a group of Mid-Missouri musicians from separate local bands, came together in succession with TOOL and KARNIVOOL like influences. Four years, three member changes, and several songs such as: "Denial", “Nibiru”, "Beyond What You Know”, and “Secrets and Lies". Chemical Mass has joined forces with Jason Schrick of JPS Productions and stepped into the studio to record their new single, “Tempted” with engineer Ian Eddy at Kevlar Soul Records. Tempted is scheduled to release in Fall 2018
