Miljoonasade

Miljoonasade is a popular Finnish rock group that rose to fame with their first single Lapsuuden sankarille in 1986. While the band has not released new material in recent years, they have played a gig every now and then. One of the most under-rated and imaginative of finnish bands that started in the late-eighties. They borrow from many different styles into a mix that is at the same time popular and alternative. Many disregard that creative side of the band, dimishing them just popular crap.

The frontman of the band is the singer Heikki Salo, who also writes the band's lyrics that are often praised (and they are good). Matti Nurro plays guitar and Ari Laaksonen bass, with Jarmo Hovi in drums and Olli Heikkinen playing keyboards.

Some of the hits of the band in addition to Lapsuuden sankarille include Marraskuu, Silmitön talvi and 506 Ikkunaa.
