About Hadley Fraser

Hadley Fraser is a versatile and in-demand actor, singer, musician and writer.

2025 has seen Hadley release his third studio record Things that Come and Go. The album has jazz at its core, covering American Songbook standards, detouring through folk, soul and acoustic ballads. Sam Young's arrangements and Fraser's voice bind the whole record together so "the piece has a consistent cohesion to it - sonically but also narratively, with the numbers living inside a bubble of melancholy that cracks your heart open and then lodges into the fracture to heal it" (Cindy Marcolina). The album also features two duets with SIX Queen Maiya Quansah-Breed.

His 2022 album Lights Around the Shore recorded with pianist Will Butterworth was inspired by the recordings of Tony Bennett and Bill Evans.

Hadley's first studio recording, the 2014 EP Just Let Go, lands squarely in a more acoustic folk-pop world. The EP of five original compositions have become favourites when performing live.

Hadley's work as an actor has seen him on stage and screen for 25+ years. Along the way he's played The Good King in Disney's Snow White , barked orders from the barricades in Les Misérables: The Motion Picture , and waltzed around Paris in The Phantom Of The Opera At The Royal Albert Hall. Other recent collaborations include Rufus Wainwright's musical Opening Night in the West End.

Hadley is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music.
