About Poltergeist
There are at least four artists using this name:
1. A thrash metal band from Switzerland formed in 1985.
They released three full-length albums; "Depression" in 1989, "Behind My Mask" in 1991 and "Nothing Lasts Forever" in 1993. Over the years Poltergeist members played in countless other swiss and german metal bands, such as Messiah, Destruction, Krokus and Mekong Delta to name but a few. After the demise of Poltergeist in 1994, bass player Marek Felis und guitarist V.O. Pulver formed the thrash/groove metal band Gurd.
2. Poltergeist from Poland, Wroclaw city (crust punk/grind core)
Members:
Jezus - growl & scream (1996-2004)
Szogun - rythm & lead guitar (1996-2004)
Burdzioh - drumms (1996-2004)
Pingwin - bass & growl & scream (1996-2002)
Makówa - bass (2002-2004)
Wojtek - lead guitar & scream (1998-2001)
Krzyś - lead & rythm guitar (2002-2004)
Beata - scream (1996-1998)

3. Solo trance project from Union Jack's Simon Berry produced the track "Vicious Circles":
Released 1996 on Manifesto Records. Licensed from Mercury Records. Written and produced by Simon Berry. This classic club tune was remixed last year by Carl Cox, and now had been remixed further by the Rhythm Masters and re-released on the Manifesto label. Both the Union Jack remix and Spirit Level mix are available on the Platipus Records Volumes One and Two, whilst the Union Jack remix is also featured on the Abuction compilation.
4. Poltergeist from Brasov, Romania(rock, alternative rock,pop-rock). they are 5 students and they are making some covers. they didn't released any album yet, but they started to write music themselves and also theyperformed a few times in Brasov bars.
