The Fratellis

Disappointing live. Sang some songs in a different style.

The backing singers, brass section and Mince were absolutely faultless and put a huge effort into entertaining the crowd, however, it felt like Barry and Jon were “going through the motions” and didn’t really want to be there. Jon barely engaged with the crowd and Barry spent most of the gig with his back to the crowd. Whistle for the Choir - probably the most well loved of their tunes, was barely recognisable as it was delivered in a very dark acoustic fashion. The crowd responded with gusto to Chelsea Dagger but I’m sad to say that we were left feeling a bit deflated after looking forward to the gig immensely. Kaiser Chiefs and the support band The Sherlocks were superb, however, and really entertained on the night.

Highlight of the day, much better than the main act (Kaiser Chiefs)! Fun loving bunch with a highly enthusiastic drummer put front and centre, who know how to throw a party!

absolutely brilliant, played a mixture of new and old. went with a mate who’d never heard of them now they’re his favourite artist!!

Let's be honest, very few people were here to see the Fratellis. Never the less, they were excellent, worked hard and won the crowd over. Interesting to see them perform so naturally in front of such a massive crowd. Roll on their next headliner (arena?) tour.

First 80% excellent when doing Costello Music tracks then lost a bit of momentum when performing lesser known songs from newer album

I'd give them 6 stars if I could. Brilliant show but then again, I've never seen The Fratellis be anything other than brilliant live. If you ever get the chance to see them live, do it - you won't be disappointed.

they were great but the acoustic was not ideal. instruments too high, voice too low. awesome show nevertheless

I have been to very, very many concerts and this one takes the cake. Amazing performers, very fun crowd of all ages and genders

2nd time seeing them. Jon "poured" all he had to the crowd; seriously must have left a few litres of sweat behind! The whole band is so tight! Great crowd, great venue.
