The Faulkingham Project

The Faulkingham Project is comprised of bassist Doug Schauf and singer/songwriter Mike Faulkingham previously of Hawthorne and drummer Paul Gauer, previously of Author Unknown. Hawthorne and A.U. played dozens of shows together and the two bands' respective members developed great friendships and a common love for well-crafted, listenable music. Years of discussion finally resulted in the formation of a power trio committed to the crafting of songs that reflected the shared musical interests of three friends. Everything was going swimmingly until James "JFerg" Upham came swaggering in and added some welcome chops to the guitar end of things. At that point, the power trio became a power quattro, and the rest is history. The Faulkingham Project is an alt rock artist from Southern Maine.
