Incredible! Ryan backed by an amazing band was quite a show. Deep cuts from the Cardinals catalog reimagined for a live stage act, super creative and beautiful. Ryan was a true rock star, flexing his guitar skills for us all. The light show was great too. I wish I could see it again! Come back to Raleigh soon

Ryan and the Cardinals were in top form as they played with passion and energy despite rain falling the entire show. The band had a funky vibe which was fueled by Don Was on bass guitar. Ryan was humorous and engaged with the crowd throughout the show. Highly recommend seeing Ryan and the Cardinals on this tour.

I enjoyed every second of the show. Attended the first concert (Newcastle) as well, and I was surprised the set lid was rather different. My girlfriend (who didn’t want to accompany me to the UK) noticed that she couldn’t see the artist she was listening to. she isn’t a hard core fan. But even so, she liked the concert. And of course, I did!

Inconsistent.
Moments and passages of the old brilliance, periods of introspection where a budget sound system meant some of the performance was lost to most except those in front stalls.
He’s never been at ease with himself but how many artists are?
I remember SRV in his darkest most chemically propelled days still giving a great show.
So I was pleased I was there, no regrets, but hoped for more.

It was a great show. Although I’m a big fan of Ryan, I never was able to attend one of his concerts. I had to board a plane to see this one, but I’m so glad I did! So much energy, so nice to enjoy the concert in the company of like minded people!
The venue was great too. Chairs could have been better, but then again, it was a long concert, so I shouldn’t complain. And I don’t!

Horrible miserable gnome behind the lights and guitar. The man insulted the audience from the get go. Dropping F bombs constantly. Paying customers let alone the kids in the audience don't need to hear that slob wash. Was a huge fan of les miserable's music til I saw it live. Well have to say he's talented but what a prick. 0 STARS

So many idiots who won't shut up and continue to use flash photography ruin the experience. Once Ryan gets flashed it takes time for him to recover and it impacts the show. The venue emailed requests to not use flash photography, had flyers throughout the venue,t announced it multiple times over the PA and Ryan personally addressed it from the stage. Didn't help. I don't know if people are just stupid or doing on purpose.
He has a medical condition, stop!

Ryan Adams gave one of the greatest concerts I have ever seen - certainly the best one featuring floor lamps.
My favorite part was seeing an older couple duck out to the side area and slow dance to "Come pick me up", which was clearly their song. My second favorite was seeing Ryan take on someone doing flash photography, despite the great number of notices saying not to do so. "Who do you think you are - Darth Maul?" was one of the better put-downs of the night.
A bucket list concert.

I have seen Ryan several times over the years, but last night was nothing short of spectacular. Great venue, with a 3 hr, 33 song retrospective!!! Ryan was in fine voice, and hit on all eras of his career, including Whiskeytown, to present day songs. Moving from differently tuned acoustic guitars, and a piano, it was as if we were graciously invited to a private performance in his dimly lit studio. I'm looking forward to his upcoming tour with the "new" Cardinals, but if you haven't seen this show, you must. As of this writing, I think there are two shows left, and then he's off to Europe.

The show and his talent was in rare form. Playing through a phenomenal set from Whiskeytown days to the present. “Romeo and Juliet” was ultra special with his commentary that the song or further songs may have to come with “conceal and carry” warnings. Went into the aisle to sing; “Lovesick Blues”- pure awesomeness. Ryan’s passion for his music and performing for people like me for which it has such a deep meaning and influence on my life - was marred by several incidents of disrespectful reattributes who never should have taken a seat at the show in the first place! Ryan thanks for your spoken tolerance! Legendary music night! See you in Milwaukee this summer.

Excellent show! I found the presentation to be excellent with the stage setup, including the minimal lighting. The voice and musicianship was professional. As Adams catalog grows, there may be songs left out, but the song selection was all anyone could hope. I found Adams to be very engaging, and enjoyed the intimate performance.

Venue was good, security was good, audience was good. Ryan was AWESOME!! just a few minutes shy of a three hour show. Only the second time seeing him and he was like he was before, funny, witty and the performance top notch. He played a piano version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow and it was BEAUTIFUL! Looking forward to seeing him again.

The 2022 return of Ryan Adams took me to Carnegie Hall in May, LA in July and Oakland last night. After seeing him in NYC, I couldn't imagine him topping that performance, but in LA he did just that. Last night in Oakland, Ryan Adams outdid himself again in every way: even better and nuanced vocals and unreal acoustic guitar mastery that made a selection from over twenty years of great songs new again. If that wasn't enough, he added four covers, three on guitar and one on piano, that he, characteristically and wonderfully, made his own. As usual, Ryan also delighted us with his humor which, when it isn't referencing music and pop culture, is hilarious self-deprecation. This show comprised thirty-eight songs in just under three hours from one of the best singer-songwriters of our generation.

It was my first time seeing him though I’ve been a fan for at least the last 8-10 years. He’s a prickly fellow and at the same time funny. He engaged with the audience in a silly way and I appreciated that. This guy is an incredible songwriter. Having grown up with the 70’s singer songwriters (Neil Young, Joni Mitchell), I have to say he is in that class ! Just an endless amount of great songs.
I especially love his singing because I can FEEL him when he sings. Vocally he’s a chameleon and able to sound very different on different songs. His vocal performance last night was FLAWLESS! It’s hard to pull off an all acoustic show, but it was clear he was up for this challenge He moved between guitar and piano and I especially liked it when he stood and played and sang. I loved his version of over the rainbow and was quite moved by it (partly because of Bowie’s reference to being free as a bluebird when he dies…I will never get over Bowie’s death). Ryan did so many of my (and, others) favorite songs, but I so wanted to hear magnolia mountain. Next time ❤️. All that being said, I thought of the quote of leaving the audience wanting more. I did not feel that. Almost 3 hours (crazy generous set for his die hard fans) of an acoustic show was about a half hour too long. I’m grateful for his generosity and it made me REALLY want to see him with a full band ! The show was perfect except for the length. I will be buying MORE Ryan Adams CD’s this week. Of his contemporaries (with the exception of Jay Farrar) no one holds a candle to him. For anyone who’s yearning for great songwriting and singing buy Ryan Adams releases. Start with heartbreaker.

This show was a killer. The crowd was small (@ 950 in a venue holding 3,000-3,500) but Ryan put on a spectacular performance, playing guitar and piano, belting out songs with more power than I ever seen from him.
He brought good humor from start to finish (I had no idea he was that funny). His fixation on lamps that were part of his set but not plugged in was hysterical (I couldn't begin to tell if that was real or all shtick but it was funny as hell). Toward the end, someone in the audience kept calling for a song they wanted to hear but the request was hard to understand and it was long past the time for requests. Nevertheless, Ryan grabbed what he heard and made something up on the spot - 5 minutes or better of nonstop playing, singing and all of it completely off the cuff.
This format really suits him. I only wish I could follow him city to city to see it again. That's not currently in the cards.

Absolutely amazing the crowd was rambunctious to say the least but Ryan kept it chill and cranked out 32 songs I wish I could go to all of his concerts he’s a special special artist. I consider him to be one of the best American songwriters ever and his voice is tonal perfection!

First time attending a Ryan Adams concert. Of course the venue is pretty amazing! Went with some family members who are longtime Ryan fans going back to 1997. Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of songs off of both his new album as well as his older ones. Missed not hearing a couple of my favorites but that's the way it goes. Loved his improv song about Red Rocks! I can't believe I haven't been a fan sooner. But I am now! Looking forward to seeing him again soon. Please come back to Red Rocks, Ryan!

Extremely talented man showcasing his gift in a live setting. Awesome new band he has backing him as well. Adams played a few songs off of his excellent new record Prisoner, and many songs from throughout his vast catalogue with great new arrangements. The show was focused, rocking and left the audience wanting more after 2 hours.

Beyond Incredible! Words can't describe how intense both Ryan and Noel's bands performed. Ryan gets better and better and the nostalgia of Noel's career since Oasis it is truly apparent that he doesn't need Liam anymore. And.....I'm a huge Oasis fan. But Wow!! The guy is truly standing on the shoulder of Giants.

Outstanding show. Definitely, some 'quieter' arrangements for a full band Ryan Adams show, but sounded stellar. Jenny Lewis and the songs she did with Ryan were also great. Plus getting to see him play with Jello was priceless. He even made up an improv song I got a video of after I yelled out '3 balloons' which is a song he improv' day the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass concert in Golden Gate park earlier this year. All around outstanding performances and venue as well !!
