The Shivers refers to at least four artists.
The Shivers (NYC) are vocalist/guitarist Keith Zarriello and a rotating ensemble, currently Evan Pazner- drums,percussion; Will Martina- cello; Ben Jones- bass, vocals; Joanne Schornikow- piano, organ, vocals. They have a new self released album called Beaks to the Moon available at their website and are gearing up for a tour.
The Shivers are an acoustic blues and country band from cambridge uk, they have released two albums, "Debut Long Player," and their latest album "it ain't easy being in The Shivers" They continue to fill ever increasing venues and gain critical and popular acclaim.
The Shivers (Indianapolis) are a band that formed in 2001 in Indianapolis and were formed by Englishman, Royston Lloyd. The band played their first show in January of 2002. Currently, they are known as purveyors of 60's influenced garage-freakbeat-rock music. The Shivers were inspired by many bands of the 60's and 70's, such as The Small Faces, The Pretty Things, The Sorrows, ? and the Mysterians, The Action and The Buzzcocks. However, in their earliest incarnation they had leanings that were more of the brit-pop variety. Known in the midwest of the USA as a band that performs catchy, exciting songs with much exuberance.
The Shivers have had their share of lineup changes and genre shifts with the current lineup being:
Mike Shimmercore - guitars & vocals
Dave Lawlis - bass & vocals
Royston Lloyd - guitars & vocals
Mico Theodore - drums
They have toured throughout the midwest of the USA and even opened for The Yardbirds on their 2003 American tour. Currently, they are playing select dates in the mid-west area and are working on their second album. For updates check www.theshiversmusic.com
