David Beckingham

In 2016 David Beckingham, one third of Vancouver’s indie trio Hey Ocean, released his debut solo album Just When The Light. The album is loaded with indie-folk gems which simultaneously touch on existential gratitude, and personal unrest. Beckingham released his album with Greywood Records (Germany) and spent much of the last few years touring in Europe and Canada. He has played and headlined festivals as a solo artist and opened for Metric’s Emily Haines at Massey Hall in Toronto. He is currently in working on a new album in London and Vancouver and is releasing a series of acoustic versions of songs from his 2016 release. David will be touring extensively throughout the USA in May and June of 2019 and plans to begin releasing a collection of new songs in late 2019 and early 2020.
