Lady Jae Jones

Janelle “Jae” Jones was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, which is most notable for being the hometown of the “Godfather of Soul” James Brown. She began singing at the age six years old along with her sister Tamara and cousin Angie in a gospel group started by their grandmother, the “Singing Angels”. The gospel group was nurtured and developed within their church, the historical Caldwell Chapel which later (members including the grandmother) moved to Israelite Baptist Church. In early 2000, while in her early twenties, Jae attended ATC and Limestone College, where she studied Business Administration. After graduating with a four year degree in 2008 she decided to start singing part time while pursuing a Master’s degree in Information Technology. Jae has set her focus on music. She is employed fulltime as a senior Programmer/Analyst and performs part-time with local cover bands such as, SoulPLAY and Yesterdays Dream.

Jae is currently performing in NYC West Village at The Blue Note Jazz Club with world renowned band "Decade of Soul Band"...
