Effron White

"Dylan, Waits, and Prine, in a Guy Clark wrap" is how some people have described award-winning, Singer/Songwriter, Effron White.

Coming from Fayetteville, AR, he relocated to Nashville, TN 8 years ago. In 2019 he toured the country and played 180 dates that year. 2020, like all of us experienced, was one, big goose egg. White did a respectable tour in 2021 and is now on his "Get EFFRON-ized Tour, 2022"
White is winner of the Kerrville Folk Festival "New Folk" award, in Kerrville, TX, along with Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, Robert Earn Keen and other Americana Music luminaries.

Other awards have included the Billboard Songwriting contest, Merlefest, becoming a member of the NW Arkansas Music Awards Hall of Fame as well as being written up in American Songwriter magazine.
His writing ranges from a poignant song about a down and out trucker, "Long Haul", to his newer offerings called, "My Heart Plays These Songs", "White Picket Fence" (this time about a happy trucker) and "High Waylon Highway" in homage to the great, Waylon Jennings.
