About The Menstrual Cramps
The Menstrual Cramps is a DIY queer punk band from Bristol, UK. Formed in 2017, the band is known for its feminist, anti-fascist, and pro-choice stance. Their music, being loud, raw, and unapologetically queer, makes a powerful statement that has shaken up the punk scene and earned them spots at major festivals. In 2023, they signed to Alcopop! Records and took 2024 by storm with the release of their EP ACAB. Their live shows are known for their high-energy performances and rebellious style, leaving audiences both inspired and exhilarated. Having recently played at Manchester Punk Festival, Bearded Theory, Bristol Pride, 2000 Trees, Truck Festival, Boomtown, and Shambala Festival, they continue to refuse to take any shit!
