Secretions

Based in Sacramento and growing regionally since 1994, these survivors and staples of the Northern California punk rock scene have tirelessly upheld their vision of timeless three chord punk throughout the years and will continue to do so TIL DEATH. With the addition of guitarist Paul Filthy, founding members Mickie Rat (bass, vocals) and Danny Secretion (drums, vocals) have brought their sound out of the gutter and on to the curb.

In the world of the SECRETIONS, the classic themes of “sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll” are accompanied with those of zombies, wrestling, and road fever. Their thirst for the road was enhanced last year when their third and biggest tour yet took them from the towering redwoods of the Great Northwest to the seedy underbelly of Nogales, Mexico.

The SECRETIONS have shared the stage with such punk rock party inducers as Chixdiggit, Pansy Division, Luckie Strike, Link 80, Good Riddance, Marky Ramone, and The Crumbs. In addition to playing shows with these touring bands, the Secretions are also friends and family with Sacramento stalwarts the Knockoffs and the Groovie Ghoulies. Danny Secretion toured as the drummer for the Groovie Ghoulies on their first North American tour with Screw 32 and The Queers.
