Thomas Paul

Thomas Paul Whalan was born on September 16, 1991 in Wollongong, New South Wales to Brian and Jillian Whalan. He grew up in Horsley, New South Wales, the third of three children. Thomas always had a love for the guitar and received his first guitar at an early age but didn't start having lessons until he was 13. At the age of 16 Thomas bought his first real electric, an American Standard Stratocaster, and first real amp, a Vox AC15. Thomas started writing songs when his best mate at school started writing with his brother and invited him to come along for a jam. From 2009 to 2010 Thomas studied music at Ultimo TAFE and learned much from Bruce Reid who is the current guitarist for the famous New Zealand/Australian band Dragon. In 2011 he studied music at Wollongong TAFE achieving an Advanced Diploma in Music. Official news and updates
