About Hopes & Venom
Hopes & Venom - das ist Multiinstrumentalistin Skiba Shapiro, die seit 2013 ihre Heimatstadt St. Gallen und Umgebung mit ihren charakterstarken Songs bereichert. Anfangs im Duo mit Drummer, ist sie seit kurzem solo mit Gitarre, Gesang, organisch programmierten Beats und dem Contemporary-Tanzduo «FII» unterwegs; weiterhin den Postrock im Herzen tragend. Jenseits von jeglichen Richtlinien kommerzieller Musik- Genres der heutigen Zeit, schafft es Shapiro eingängige Kompositionen zu kreieren, in die sich so mancher sofort verliebt. Im Juni 2016 erschien ihre lang ersehnte erste EP «Alpha | Omega» und nun ein Jahr später die Nachfolger-EP «Gifts».
