About Dang Bruh-Y?
OG Afro-punk, punk-funk, whatever-the-funk pioneers DBY? are known for attracting a lot of attention with an in-your-face style, exhilarating live shows and political undertones similar to artists with which they’ve shared the stage. Acts like: Public Enemy, No Doubt and Fishbone. The band's masterminds, Jagon Eldridge(saxophone) and Howard Love(vocals), have maintained the band in its incarnations for over two decades. At the approach of the second millennium, Jagon and Love went their separate ways—one to New York, one to Los Angeles… Hurricane Katrina happened and in her wake the two found themselves reunited talking of bringing back a band that meant so much to so many. Well, they're back in their native New Orleans with this installment of Dangincarnation. Check out some of their recent studio work, available on iTunes and other online retailers, and old school tracks at: www.reverbnation/theogdangbruhy Afro-punk/Rock/Alternative/Indie/Punk/Funk/New Orleans
