Yumi Zouma

I came for Yumi Zouma, but loved the other bands as well. I just wish other people would recognize their talent too

It was nice to see Yumi Zouma sell out Elsewhere last night. The band seems to get a bigger following each time they play. They appeared as a three-piece as they did at their last NYC appearance. Christie Simpson donned a beret and looked more confident than ever behind the microphone. The set was a great balance of new and old favorites, and left the excited crowd satisfield. Chelsea Jade opened and sang most of her songs from the floor, moving through the crowd. Odd but interesting.

Even better than the 2022 show at Terminal West. I love this band SO MUCH and they're so good live!

This was the second time in as many years that I’ve seen them at Motorco and it was better than the first. Was even able to get a selfie with Josh and Olivia from the band. I can’t wait for the next time they’re in town!

Super fun show. Blazed thru a set and played a ton of songs. Cute stage and lighting. It was all vibes and aggressive swaying to the beat!

Youmi Zoumi translates to "holy hype" in Japanese. That's actually not true. Anyways, it was a fantastic, energetic set from all members of the band; they interacted with the audience a ton and got the whole room dancing. Sound as good live as they do in studio, if not better.
