2) Namesake was a band from Perth, Australia. Broke up in 2005.After releasing a demo with songs 'ground zero' & 'Overrated'. The demo was free to download on the now defunt website. After this they stabilized the band lineup and released the 6 song EP : "Mark my words we'll fall together" on Nefarious records, the EP sold quite well, seeing the record sold nationwide despite the band never playing outer-state.
3) Namesake is a hip hop crew comprised of Jaeson Ma and mikewhang from Los Angeles California. Their mission is to create Hip-Hop music that communicates the reality, truth and power of God's love. It is heart felt music that seeks to encounter God's manifest presence. The sound is distinct, best described as a fusion of prophetic worship and hip hop rap - we call it "worship rap."
