Ever-Frost

Ever-Frost formed in 2008 as a Sentenced cover band project, but only for a few months at the beginning of its activity. Very quickly, Ever-Frost decided to spend energy in the composition of new original music, mixing some Swedish Death Metal styles (OPETH, DARK TRANQUILLITY, IN FLAMES, AT THE GATES) with modern elements, writing lyrics about the awakening of self-awareness. The first record produced is a 4 songs EP called “The Awakening”, released on January 2009. The album got encouraging reviews all over Europe and pushed the band onto stage to spread their music. After some live promotional gigs supporting bands as THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY, SUBHUMAN, DARK END and DESTRAGE, Ever-Frost started working hard to write new material for the next album, which can be heard in the first full length "Departing Of Time" (Beyond Productions/2013). This album offers a mix of Swedish and progressive death metal with off beats, heavy riffing and blast beats, all with a simple aim: the search of melody and new interesting dynamics. The lyrics written for this new album are concettually the sequel of the already dicussed ideas expressed in the previous EP: they are meant to take the listener to a journey inside his mind, in order to build up the strength to become free. Thanks to a positive press and audience response, Ever-Frost was able to lead its sound on an European Tour in 2014 and to participate to one of the biggest festivals around Europe: METALDAYS 2015. On January 15th 2016, Ever-Frost are releasing their brand new EP named "Undefined Colors", a new step into the evolution of band's sound: though, heavy and yet incredibly melodic riffs and lyrics will throw the audience into a dream state of mind, where a lot of space is left to a very critical view of our nowadays world, where oppressive societies and loss of social values are the powerful threats we accuse.
