We Are Gentlemen

When people talk about punk rock in the United States, it conjures up images of New York City in the 1970's. Dimly lit bars that reek of alcohol and sweat. Like the now world famous CBGBs, where four leather clad rockers would help define the music of a generation. Our story begins in a venue much like this one. It was a cold night at The Melody Inn when songwriter and guitarist Alan Michael first met bassist Frankie Rambler. They hit it off almost immediately and it wasn’t long before the friends decided to form a band. A few months later they recruited Randy Fox on drums and set their sights on the local punk scene. With influences ranging from the pop punk bands of the 90s to the rockabilly music of the 50s, we arrive at a sound that is defined by upbeat rhythms and catchy melodies.
