Synthetic Torture is the name of a brutal death metal act from Denmark. A band containing memebers of established Danish acts like Invisius, Nembience, ex-Destroyerboy and ex-Inbreeding Rednecks. Synthetic Torure was formed in year of 2005 and has since made their way to acknowledgement with their chrushing style and a exciting live shows, which latest came to show by receiving 6/6 stars in a live review at one of Denmark's biggest metal-webzines, DanishMetal.dk. Synthetic Torture plays a brutal, new and exiting mix of new and old school death metal. Blast beats, killer riffs and heavy vocals dominate their sound, and the variations between ultra heavy and fast playing, makes it exiting listenerble. Synthetic Torture made two EP's ('My Path' released in 2005, and 'Now Or Never' released in 2007) before recording their debut album during the summer of 2008. The debut album, 'A Prediction Of Ailment' was released in 2009 online by the band themselves. As an interesting eksperiment in getting more interests in the band, the debut album was online-released for free download. Synthetic Torture, has since the beginning, been going through several line-up changes. Latest by saying welcome to the new drummer Kasper Rottbøll (Nembience). The Synthetic Torture 2010 line-up is at no doubt the strongest line-up the band has ever had, and as a 5-piece, they entered the studio in 2010 to record the new EP ' Bloodline Collapse'.
