About Jay Diggins

Since forging his musical path over 20 yrs ago with PJ Harvey and John Parish, Jay has worked with some of the largest names in the business, supporting this summer The South (aka The Beautiful South), and Bruce Foxtons From The Jam.

Last year saw Jay return to his "roots" working with John Parish for the release of his critically acclaimed debut album 'Searching', launched to a sell-out show at Lancaster's Grand Theatre.

"Mesmerising" - Mojo

A few facts about him: He was taught how to perform in a band by John Parish. He spent two years learning how to record rock music, with weekly sessions in Yeovil's Icehouse and Small World recording studios, along with John Parish and PJ Harvey.

He won a place on the worlds first Popular Music Sound Recording course at Salford University. A course that was 200 times oversubscribed, tutored by legendary record producer Bill Leader (Davey Graham, Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Frank Harte).
