The FullStops

The FullStops are a Reggae, Ska and Rocksteady band from Dallas, Texas who strive to capture the island sounds that were playing on a hot summer night in the 70’s and 80’s in Kingston, Jamaica. A thumping bass, one-drop snare, bubbling organ, echoing guitar, melodic horn lines and catchy vocals are all part of their sound.

Their shows combine original and cover songs usually starting with foundation roots riddims with horn solos followed by upbeat ska tunes mixed in with the smooth sounds of old school lover’s rock reggae. Their sound is infectious, puts you in a good mood and gets you grooving on the dance floor.

The band has been playing many venues in the Dallas and Fort Worth area and has quickly built up a reputation as a solid musical group who has a unique Reggae Jazzy sound. They have played many festivals including Ska by Skawest and opened for many national acts such as Sun Dried Vibes, The Steady 45's and Kash'd Out. They have built a strong following and have played shows with many local Ska and Reggae artists.

The band is currently working hard in the studio and plans to release an EP in early 2018 with hits such as “In The Rain”, “Never Go Back” and “Sad and Lonely”. In the ever-growing Texas Ska and Reggae scene, The FullStops are firmly placed to make their mark and will pull out all the stops to reach new musical heights.
