Long-time fan, first time seeing them live. All I have to say is...HOLY SHITE!!! Crack the Skye was freaking incredible! From the start of Oblivion to the head-banging, gut-busting riffs of the Czar to the crazy ass soloing on the Last Baron, I was truly blown away by their performance. The only gripe I had was the crowd’s head banging. I mean, come on! I was there mainly for Coheed but I still listen to the Don, show them some respect by freaking head-banging! On a serious note, they definitely blew my expectations out of the water. I would definitely go and see them again, that is for damn sure!

Amazing night - Crack the Skye in its entirety and a few bonus songs at the end. The only disappointing thing was that they couldn't play longer. The background visuals were every bit as cool as the music.

Oh man seeing Mastodon playing Crack the Skye with the new visualizations brought me back to 2009 when I saw them for the 2nd time. Reliving all those memories was awesome, Thank you again Mastodon.

Mastodon F'ing ROCKED! They were on point and, as always, amazing. They had animations running on the screen behind them that went right along with "Crack The Skye" which they played in it's entirety. Excellent show.
Loved the show. Brent was having problems with his monitor, and the show was actually double booked. Meaning, 2 headliners with whoever they brought with em. So in all,I got to see Gojira,Mastodon, Eagles of Death Metal,Opeth,Devin Townsend Project, and Russian Circles. It was like a mini Festival that started at around 12noon until about 11pm or so if I remember correctly. Funny, since I really just bought the ticket to see Mastodon who played Dead last,lol...but the bonuses were getting to see and enjoy Eagles of Death Metal, and Gojira. Even though the other bands were talented and rocked it,I wasn't a fan of them, except for the 3 I just listed. Great experience since I was right at the barricade the whole show and in front of Brent Hinds during Mastodon, and never had been to an outdoor show at the Electric Factory. By the time the show was over I had bruised ribs from the crowd pushing me against the steel barricade, but the entire experience was great and the bands played extremely well.

I dreamed about seeing MASTODON on stage! I was tired of waiting their visit to Russia, so I collect sum of money to see them in Germany. These guys just proved their mastery! Concert was awesome! Especially Scott Kelly’s vocals and Brann’s drums. Guys, if you’re reading this, please, visit Russia! I’m sure, audience will blow up concert place!)
