About Steve Atkins
Dallas-native Steve Atkins broke into the local music scene in 2013 with a charming, acoustic debut entitled 'Locals". Stylistically, he shifted his framework for his sophomoric EP, 'Runners', slated for a December 2016 release, moving from an indie-acoustic feel to a catchy combo of boot-stomp folk and Texas-pop. His subtle guitars, soaring melodies, and connection-driven lyrics create a pulse that can't help but engage the twenty-something crowd.
