Chancho en piedra

This group from CHILE was born in 1993, when the four members got together in order to make good music.The band name comes from an exquisite an traditional dish called like that.

MEMBERS:
Eduardo Ibeas Alias: “Lalo” - vocals
Leonardo Corvalán Alias: “Toño” - drums
Pablo Ilabaca Alias: “K-V-Zón” - vocals, guitar y keyboard
Felipe Ilabaca - vocals & bass.

Lalo and K.V.Zón met in school, where they used to make songs against classmates who they didn't get along with.
Toño was a grade above and Felipe one further, all in the same school.

In 1995 they released their first CD and they called "Peor es mascar lauchas" (something close to "anything is better than nothing at all"), so the name was an argument in advance in case that people didn't like the album.

During the band's career, "Chancho en piedra" has been recognized as great live entertainer group among the Chilean music scene.
