Daniel Anderson

The Daniel Anderson Trio - Daniel Anderson is a multi-instrumentalist based in the Raleigh, NC area. Having spent most of his time as a sideman for various roots music-based projects, he is now stepping out to lead a guitar oriented instrumental fusion project of his own that blends jazz, rock, blues, funk, gospel, and world music.

Initially known for his fiery slide guitar playing, reminiscent of masters such as Duane Allman, Derek Trucks, and Warren Haynes, Daniel now displays a broader palette of influences within the context of his trio, whether it's a fresh interpretation of a classic jazz or pop song, or one of his original compositions. Combined with the versatile rhythm section of Ryan Masecar on drums and E. Scott Warren on bass, this project provides a solid foundation for each member to embark on their own sonic adventures. Improvisation, melody, and the musicianship to convey these musical ideas in an emotive way are what The Daniel Anderson Trio is about.
