Voted Best Emerging Chicago Artists of 2012 by The Deli Chicago Reader's Fan Poll, Audiences was recently featured on WXRT with accolades from host Richard Milne. In October 2012, Audiences released a self-titled EP, following the success of the single Ghosts, released in April of that year, both of which are available on iTunes and Spotify. Although they have not ventured outside of Chicago yet, Audiences has headlined major venues such as Hard Rock Cafe, Lincoln Hall, The Metro, and The House of Blues. The four piece band features narrative lyricism and strong harmonies from lead singer Billy Jesus and bassist Brian Suarez, formerly referred to as "Cardigan," as well as distinct percussion from drummer Bobby Is and catching rifts from lead guitarist Stephen Kraniotis. It has been recommended that you see them live,[2] and this has been made possible by Chicago based company Audiotree who invited Audiences to be a featured artist in January 2013. A Split EP with band Apollo House was released in April 2013 through AEMMP Records featuring songs tracked and recorded at Chicago Recording Company (CRC).
