Faith In Exile

Faith In Exile is a melodic metal band originally formed in 2005. Hailing from the center of coal country in Pottsville, PA, the band’s sound has evolved over the past 7 plus years into the current formula of crushing metal compositions meshed with melodic sensibilities. In the process, the band has gained a large, loyal local and regional following. FIE has released 3 independent albums, the most recent in 2010 entitled “In Defiance of Suffering.” The quartet of vocalist (and former guitarist) Rob Allison, bassist Allen Buehner, guitarist Brand Foti, and drummer Ron Gubala played steadily for over 2 years supporting the album throughout their home state and into neighboring areas. With the addition of guitarist Paul Trepal in late spring 2012, the new 5 piece FIE was solidified. Just 2 months into gigging with the new lineup, the band was selected to play the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival for its Scranton, PA date in August 2012. They will return to play the 2013 edition of Mayhem Fest in July. Pre-production has begun on their new album with an anticipated late 2013 release.
