Dowry

Dowry is Éna Brennan, for now... Éna is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, songwriter and poet originally from Brussels and now based in Dublin. Usually found on stage with either Tandem Felix, Bad Sea, Paddy Hanna or Spudgun, she now embarks on a solo project under the moniker of Dowry. Éna begins every set with a completely improvised violin piece using her loop pedal, launching then into a collection of songs on either bass, guitar or looped voice. She draws influence from a variety of other musicians; Julianna Barwick, Melanie De Biasio, Arthur Russell and tUnE-yArDs to name a few.
