Spanish For Hitchhiking is a Northampton indie rock band from Northampton, MA, where they've spent the past 15+ years immersed in the vibrant music scene. In 2004 they released their album The Starling, and in 2015 they released Night Alerts. "This Northampton-based collective make indie rock the way the kids used to, pre-white-belt emo and Hello Kitty cute, with abraded minor-chord guitar accents underscoring singer/guitarist Dennis Crommett’s unpretty, rumpled-guy laments about hopeful arrivals, reluctant departures, and missed opportunities. In other words, there’s much to like about this debut full-length." - Boston Phoenix Indie rock band from Northampton, MA.
