About Green Corn Rebellion

This Oklahoma-grown band, know forthwith as Green Corn Rebellion, arose from the murk of the sleeping Tulsa Sound, or the mire of the not-so-tired New Tulsa Sound, or perhaps the underpinnings of the dirge-punk scene somewhere in Terlton. Masked as mere dextrous performers, the band consists of highly trained thinking machines from a variety of backgrounds, tirelessly creating dramatic musical enactments of Americana from the underbelly of the mid-south, i.e. the line of highways that spans Stillwater to Houma, cypress to red dirt, a "prarie-dog rock" voodoo. Banjo and horn and Tomshany driven decatet with Okie-Cajun-Stax vocal stylings infused with fresh songs from the Tulsa area
