About Dying Phoenix
Dying Phoenix took its first concrete steps in 2011 when St. James worked on the first song ideas together with Oliver Palotai (Kamelot).
But things really took off when St. James put together a band line-up in 2019 and made the long-awaited stage debut with them a few months later.
Although the band was full of energy and ready to continue immediately, a small virus slowed down the entire world and the phoenix had to wait again. But while many were struggling during this time, St. James was putting the finishing touches to the debut album.
In 2022 the Phoenix rose again and the band was able to get back on stage, followed by a small tour through southern Europe. The year ended with a record deal with El Puerto Records.
In 2023, after ten years of work, the debut album “Winter Is Coming” was finally released. But unfortunately the year was not a good one. First singer and keyboardist Moran Magal announced that she’ll leave the band to concentrate on her solo career and at the end of the year Pat St. James and the remaining band members parted ways.
But as in mythology, this only served to evolve.
The new line up was announced at the beginning of 2024.
Again, the phoenix has risen from the ashes.
This is the age of the new incarnation of the mythical bird. The Phoenix is back and shines brighter than before
