Demon Hunter

The legendary Demon Hunter is my favorite band! 25 years of rocking hard and they still have massive energy and crowd participation. It's such a rare thing to see, and it is always a treat. Cultist was the opener and they crushed it. I'd never heard them before. The bass player in particular was my favorite. Dude was so emphatic and egging on the crowd to circle up for a bit constantly. My only complaint was that their mix was nowhere near as good as the other two acts. It was very sharp and grating by comparison. Convictions - never heard of them either, but I'm disappointed that I hadn't. These guys absolutely rock out. The songs were great, I would certainly like to see them again. If they aren't making waves they definitely will be soon. My wife, my friends, and I all agreed that they took the MVP title from the two openers but it was pretty close. The lead guitarist (not the long haired guy who sings cleans) did kinda look like he didn't really want to be there. I happened to notice him rolling his eyes and it seemed like he couldn't wait to get off stage when they were done. He just had very annoyed body language the whole time. He still crushed it though. No regrets here! If I had to see this exact lineup and set list I'd do it again. Very pleasant experience. I'd have to say Workplay is my favorite smaller venue in Birmingham by far.

This was the third (actually fourth, but that’s another story) time I’ve seen Demon Hunter and this was, for me, the best. As a 70yr old metal head, I’m far too old to get caught up in the pit down front so I was glad that this venue had an upstairs that provided a great place to experience the show. Ryan and the guys were at the top of their game. The set list included songs from across their 25yr career. They did three of my favorite songs: Jesus Wept, I Will Fail You, and Dead Flowers.

I decided to go all out and do the VIP experience and boy was I rewarded!! Now only was the band amazing with the access and just how grateful THEY were to spend time with their fans, but the show was amazing!! Big thumbs up to Convictions and Cultist as they were great opening acts to get the crowd excited. DH are the consummate professionals and put on amazing show for all fans. Whether you have been on the train for 2 decades or just got on at the last hour … all were provided an unforgettable experience. Big props to CCMH for being a great host. Not only is the venue great, the staff was amazing!!

It was a great show ! We got a first look into a new heartfelt song which was awesome, and the venue was great, some small mashes but not too big, so if you didn't want to mosh then you could, the other bands there were awesome as well, they where very engaging and made it better than I thought it would be all in all great.

War of ages was impeccable as always thank you . For a CHRIST filled concert he is the reason we go to these and it’s great to honor him in all we say or do thank you war of ages 🙏☦️🙏☦️🙏☦️!!! Also saw demon hunter for the first time they did great thank you !!!

I saw them on the exile tour and was so impressed as it was my first time seeing them live. Their sound, production and presentation was even better this time around! I took my son to his first metal show and loved Demon Hunter a lot!! Can’t wait to go again!!

It was so amazing. I had the honor of meeting these gentlemen with my eldest daughter. After following their music since 2005 I have watched them evolve and change with grace. My girls were also raised listening to their blessed tunes. I love how their music has heart and speaks from a place we can all relate to. With the men's metal crushing symphony, Ryan's theatrical performance and melodic voice, you are swoon into an atmosphere of hypnotic oceans. Ryan Clark and the boys never disappoint. They played for over an hour and the whole lineup was fire. The fact they were all Christian bands made it that much better. Beer City is a good venue and small venues are real good on the intimacy and closeness to the bands.

First time seeing Demon Hunter and they didn’t disappoint. I got the VIP pass and it was totally worth it. I saw Ryan Clark play at Cornerstone in ‘97 in his first band Focal Point just after he graduated from high school, so I had him sign my Suffering of the Masses CD. Demon Hunter was amazing, as well as War of Ages, Convictions, and Cultist. The whole night was intense and I went home a little sore, ears ringing, and a headache. Totally worth it! All the bands put on an amazing show in front of a sold-out venue. Thanks for coming to Chicago guys!

I willingly drove 2 hours to get to the Demon Hunter show in Mechanicsburg. The only issue I had with the venue was that doors didn’t actually open til 7:15 or so when announced time was 6:30. We stood outdoors in increasingly colder temperatures. I was not familiar with Opponent, the opening band but enjoyed their passion and musicianship. Loved seeing War of Ages next. They put on a great show. Finally, it goes without saying that Demon Hunter was even better than I’d ever seen them. Ryan Clark is one of the best metal vocalists out there and the members of the band are stellar as well. Yogi Watts, on the drums, deserves special recognition. That they played works from every one of their many albums was icing on the cake.

I started listening to Demon Hunter when I was 10 years old. And now, after 21 years, I finally got to see them live. The show is amazing! Thank you Demon Hunter for making my childhood and staying around long enough for me to enjoy your music in person.

Show was awesome had a bunch of fun shoulda went the the premium seating though I brought some fam but really that isn't the shows fault. Even the lead band was fire so you'd really be missing out if you like metal. I'd say if they do that venue again make sure you give yourself lots of time to find parking.

It was awesome; I loved demon Hunter ever since hearing driving nails on a Christian cd at library There riffs are sick, I tried to get a vip ticket, it was my birthday and I got a free lanyard and almost front row free for that day It was a great concert, I even have a sick tattoo that resembles their albums and defeat darkness with dead goat symbol and scary yet cool. I had a great night and they sang my fav song lately, the last one alive!

Awesome show - having extra time with the headliner and less with opening bands truly made this worth the time/effort to drive 4hrs to get to the show! Band was awesome, audio quality sounded pretty great, we could understand the vocal and the deep bass kicked awesome. 10/10

4th time seeing them. Came down from Detroit! It was worth it! They get better and better! Then! I met the band! They were packing up out back and signed my last 3 Deluxes. And took photos and talked with them! They are so kind and love to hug! My wife looks so cute with Jeremiah!

I bought the VIP package for the show! I got a chance to meet the band! The band mates themselves are genuine guys! They were very humble and stoked to meet their fans! They signed my War and Peace Deluxe Edition book. They put on an EPIC show for us! They performed 19 songs! Never will forget this concert! First time seeing them live and hopefully not the last!

Longtime fan, 15 years, first time to see live and was totally blown away! The whole concept of an acoustic set and an electric set worked so well. Talking about exceeding expectations! Praying they can release a DVD of this tour, my phone recordings can't do their sound justice.

This was my first time seeing them and what an amazing show. They arrived in suits and started with an acoustic set of the softer songs, which was lovely. After the intermission they came back on stage with the usual metal clothing on and played a set of heavy songs. Sound quality was great too. I've been listening to Demon Hunter since I was like 13 and they were one of the first heavier bands that I ever liked. I still remember the night I heard Heartstrings for the first time, played on a late night metal radio show which I used to listen to in secret. They're a Christian band but I'm atheist and I love them anyway. The music does not sound preachy, not all of the songs are religious, and I've never felt like they're trying to convert me. I am so happy to have been able to be at this special show and I had so much fun. Highly recommend.

The show was 100% different than I expected it would be but was 100% the show it needed to be. The concept they executed in the show was phenomenal. That concert is at the top of the most impactful and best concerts I’ve been to. Thank you Demon Hunter For pursuing your calling, and executing your artistic craft like you have. Don’t miss this tour if you can help it.
