Adamic

Adamic is a hard rock duo made up of singer/drummer Ian Swaby and guitarist/bassist Josiah Pletch. The two lifelong friends have spent over a decade writing and recording music together with several independent releases under their belts. With influences like P.O.D., Deftones, and Chevelle, the band offers a fresh yet familiar brand of alternative metal and hard rock. In September of 2023 Adamic released their self-titled album, along with a music video for the single All Of A Sudden. This record offers a diverse collection of songs from the blistering heavy-metal of 62 Grit, to the more alternative and melodic elements of Heather and Gloom. The album also spawned a couple of #1 charting singles on independent radio stations with Anew and All Of A Sudden. In May of 2025 Adamic released The Waving EP, this time broadening the boundaries of their established sound. The lead single Waving was released ahead of the EP alongside a music video produced by the band themselves. The song serves as a perfect snapshot of Adamic's musical range featuring upbeat anthemic choruses, melody-rich guitars and vocals, and a very mosh-worthy outro. The EP also includes a guest guitar feature from Andrew Stanton (Disciple) on the song Light. While Adamic writes and records as a two-piece, they enlist bassist Josh Harris and drummer Andrew Garrett for their high-energy live shows.
