lris Calling Band writes all original music fronted by singer/guitar player Cheryl Smith, singer/percussionist Bootsie Leonard, stick and ukulele bass player Paul Bernardini and classically trained viola player Chris Barbosa. They are a truly eclectic sounding quartet that features a haunting viola the melds well with the small ukulele bass, djembe drums and Martin rhythm guitar.
