Romance

There are at least three projects with the name Romance.
1) Romance is the name of a Seattle based 4-piece producing music in the early 80's post-punk style with elements of Joy Division, The Chameleons and The Sound.
They formed in late 2005 and shortly after released their debut EP - When Things Are Better. Lead by their single Paris Is Burning KEXP and other radio stations put the EP in regular rotation. This lead to fans voting them as one of the top four up and coming bands in Seattle.
Recently they've had a line up change with the addition of new drummer Josh Fant (ex-Post Stardom Depression). Their debut full length CD is due to be released in September 2008.

2) Romance was also the name given to one of James Plotkin's myriad projects, releasing the Bleak Memories album on which he played guitar, piano, bass and handled electronics.

3) Romance is the name of Dean Glaister's harsh noise project from Newcastle, England.
