Sorin Bojin

I grew up in a Christian home and have been in church for the most part of my life, even though I didn’t become a Christian until I was fourteen years old. My grandfather was a pastor in a small town called Zervesti in western Romania, where my love for music was born. My grandfather was a man of God and had instilled in me from an early age the fear of God and what it meant to know God, to seek him and to help others find God. A major part in me choosing the path I'm on today was also my youth pastor and uncle Pavel Oprea. He was an immeasurable source of motivation, inspiration and leadership, without whom I probably would have not started on this music ministry journey.

I began attending Bible College right after High School and I was seeing how God was calling me on this music ministry path shortly after I started helping lead worship at our Tuesday Nights Chapel Service. The worship team we had formed at the Bible College somehow turned into a worship band and before we knew it God was using us and forming us for something greater. I became the lead singer of the worship band and we recorded an independent worship album titled “All I Want”, that had two original songs written by us and ten song we translated from mainstream worship music artists. Soon after this we were receiving invitations to sing at churches, conferences and music festivals around the country. Our leaders at the Bible College we're seeing what God was doing through us and trusted us with the privilege of leading worship at the annual National Youth Camp they we're organizing each year. The gathering brought together over four thousand young adults from all over the country out in the mountains, camping for an entire week and seeking God and studying his Word. Later that year we got nominated for best worship band at a well known Christian Music Festival.

This lasted until March of 2007 when I moved to London, England where I became a part of Hillsong Church London for a couple years. Here I served on the production team and worship team and was one of the main vocalists for a Christmas Special Song sung by eight guys. I was also credited on the "Hail To The King" Live Album recording for production assistant.

After my move to California in the beginning of 2009 I got married to my wife Diana and we settled at her church Bethany Romanian Baptist Church in La Habra, CA for several years. Here I helped revive the Sunday Night worship service combining both blended and more contemporary worship songs.

Shortly after this I served on staff as a worship leader for The Rock Church in Riverside, CA and FPC Church in Fullerton, CA for a few months each. Here I managed teams on rotation schedules using Planning Center Online, lead the rehearsals and recruited new musicians to the already growing worship team.

In October 2014 I released my first solo project with the very talented producer Daniel Viramontes from S1 Studios in Fullerton, CA. The album contains five original worship songs and was written specifically for church worship services. I had the pleasure to work with some very talented musicians on this project including Corey Gonzalez who mastered the album and Emanuel Cervantes (E-man) on drums.

Currently I serve on the worship team at Agape Church in Yorba Linda, CA and I reside in Southern California with the love of my life Diana and our beautiful daughter Adalyn Grace.
