About Troublemakers
There are several bands by the name of Troublemakers:
1) Troublemakers is a French trio composed of Fred Berthet, Arnaud Taillefer and DJ Oil. They first met at la Friche Belle in Marseille in 1998 . Their appreciation for '60s and '70s jazz and funk and film scores, added to dance floor music elements, produced the band's distinctive eclectic sound.
After two years of work in studio, the Troublemakers released their debut album Doubts and Convictions in 2001 on the label Guidance. Following their first release, the trio was reduced by one member as Fred Berthet departed for a separate project. The resulting duo produced a soundtrack and medium-length movie (52mn) entitled Express Way filmed in Marseille. The album was released on the famous jazz label Blue Note.
