Clay Ravens

Founded upon the guttural, honey-smoked harmonies of their vocal blend; Clay Ravens began as a singer-songwriter project between two siblings: Justin and Brianne Huntley Smith. Their songs lent themselves to a more complex sound, so the band needed growth. With each new contributor came an unexpected twist to the original vision. Incorporating Kelsey Butkus’s technical bass skills, Brendan Tydall’s shredding twang electric guitar style, Matt Cook-Contois’s legendary fiddle chops and Tim Lanham's third line shuffle, the band has formed an extremely unique indie folk sound that has audiences on the tip of their toes and screaming for more. The Clay Ravens are one of the Vancouver music scene's hottest upcoming bands. Their original style of music blends Americana, Rock, and Folk music into an exciting and emotionally powerful show!
